Platters was opened in 1980 by Rocky Achilles who established the restaurants reputation for serving fine fresh local seafood.

The restaurant still proudly displays photos of these early days and the family continue to run the restaurant to Rockys high standards injecting warmth and humour making Platters a fantastic venue for an impromptu meal or a private party.
